UCHC Policy 2002-44 (7/18/13) states that “discrimination or harassment based on race, color, ethnicity, religious creed, age, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, transgender status, gender identity or expression, marital status, veteran status, national origin, ancestry, intellectual disability, physical disability, including blindness, past or present mental disability, learning disability, criminal record, or genetic information, is prohibited.

It is the legal duty of the Executive Vice Presidents for Health Affairs to enforce this and other workplace policies including Affirmative Action and Diversity. He is required to investigate all complaints and take “prompt corrective action.”
